I find it humorous that the wingnuts who were running around claming God selected Bush as their president are now all aghast at the Obama “cult”. When you walk lock step with a leader who tortures people, locks them up guilty or innocent without a trial, wiretaps the American public, and basically shits all over the Constitution left and right. Your howling about an Obama “cult” rings a bit hollow.

One of his commentors Craig, had me gafawing:

It is unbelievable how American’s leftists are gullible people. Do you realize that this is happening in America, the Greatest Nation in the world (for now at least, but not for long with Obama)? What’s wrong with these idiots? You would think that you are in a lost village of a country in Africa where they believe in voodoo and that kind of stuff.

What a shame for America to have so many ignorant citizens. I though this country was supposed to be a model for the world? Gee! Since when did stupidity become a model? America is completely “out of order”.

And because he obviously didn’t hit the insanity meter high enough with his first post, after another gulp of cheetos he continued in the next comment:

You see, leftist liberals lost all their values. They have thrown out their religion. Now they believe in stuff like abortions and gay marriages, etc. When people lose their values, like they did, they need new values. So they go for new Gods like Obama or for new religions like Al Gore’s environmentalism.

Conservative people did not lose their values. This is why they don’t lose their mind on stupidities. Leftist liberals have no soul; they are puppets, so it is easy to manipulate them. They are idiots.

Now, Curt does link to a post from the Topeka-Capital Journal which I hope is a joke.

Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation’s 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

“Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.

While Obama’s election was historic, let’s wait and see what kind of president he actually turns out to be before making a holiday for him.
